What will you be doing? The role will require you to lead on practice and performance development through the provision of high quality supervision and support of staff in line with The Care Act principles. You will take a lead on highly complex cases, working creatively in partnership with others to manage risk. You will also provide leadership, through managing essential functions of the team including complex safeguarding situations. Our Community Teams are currently working to a hybrid model, with part-remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs. Once fully trained, our Social Workers will work from the office up to three days each week. This gives our Social Workers a quiet space and plenty of time for reflection whilst still balancing collaborative working and peer support. It has also increased our Social Workers autonomy and has had a positive impact on wellbeing and work-life balance. About you You will be passionate about being a Social Worker,a great leader and someone who is keen to share your knowledge and experience with others. As such you will be a SWE registered Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years experience and preferably a Practice Educator or working towards this. You will have a high level of interpersonal skills, undertaking multi-agency work with partner organisations, providers, individuals, families and carers.
