Role: Staff Engineer - Climate Tech
Location: Fully Remote but you have to be based in the East Coast, USA, or Mainland Europe

This climate-tech company is at the start-up/scale-up inflection point. They're moving past the days where problems were solved with unstructured grit and intuition, and are now looking for sanity and scalability.
Their team develops a unique product that helps organisations proactively monitor and manage one of the major effects of climate change. You will be directly contributing to a safer and more stable world through the products you'll be developing.
They are looking for a Chief Software Engineer with expert-level proficiency in full-stack, cloud-driven (GCP, Azure or AWS) development in React, Angular or Typescript along with Python/FastAPI. A genuine interest in the sustainability movement is essential, as you will be working with passionate people who care deeply about our planet.
You will have no formal line management responsibilities but will lead/coach the team and drive the adoption of industry-leading technology and standards across the engineering team. You should possess excellent relationship-building, leadership, and collaboration skills.
The role will be remote based with occasional travel into London and/or Amsterdam, and you can be based anywhere in the US, mainland Europe, or on the East Coast of the US (but able to be flexible to GMT/CET working patterns).
