Working hours: 35 Hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed The Salvation Army Debt Advice Service is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to support the development of this growing service and to ensure the advice offered and systems/procedures in place meet all regulatory requirements. This is a peripatetic post which will require you to occasionally attend meetings and provide training face to face at our debt advice centres. The successful candidate will need to travel to geographical locations and be able to attend Management meetings at our head office in London. We are looking for someone who combines the skills of debt advice quality management with a heart for Christian mission. Key Responsibilities: The post-holder will support the mission of the Salvation Army by meeting the needs of those struggling with debt and related financial issues. The Debt Advice Quality manager will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that the departments quality standards and procedures meet all regulatory requirements. They will be required to provide training to staff as appropriate to mitigate against non-compliance and set up systems to ensure all compliance monitoring is recorded appropriately. There will be a requirement to develop budgeting material to support the wider Financial Inclusion Service in which debt advice is part of. They will be part of the senior management team but will also be required to manage a small case load of debt advice clients. The successful candidate(s) will: Have proven interpersonal skills, previous experience in a similar environment and working with staff and/or volunteers, be able to work on their own initiative and in a team, enjoy working with people, and be able to deal tactfully with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders. It is important that the candidate understands the needs of service and has proficiency in English.
