Job Overview
We are looking for bank administrators/receptionists to support our GP practices across the following sites:
* Blaenavon
* Brynmawr
* Aberbeeg
* Tredegar
* Bryntirion
This position is on a bank basis for 5-8 weeks, Monday to Friday, 8-6:30pm (part-time will be considered). You must be flexible to cover all 5 sites.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include greeting and directing patients, managing the appointment system, booking appointments, processing personal information, and assisting patients as needed.
You will also be the central point of contact for patients, distributing information, messages, and enquiries to the clinical team, and liaising with external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Main duties of the job
* Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system.
* Process personal, telephone, and electronic requests for appointments.
* Answer incoming phone calls and address callers' requests appropriately, escalating when necessary.
* Signpost patients to the correct service.
