Playing a key role by Purchasing Engineering equipment for international process and petrochemical projects, controlling the costs of that equipment, quality, and supply, to ensure that prestige engineering projects are delivered on time, and with a profit.
Your strengths will include Technical Buying, ideally for offshore petrochemical oil and gas engineering projects. Knowing how that world operates, knowing some of the suppliers of process engineering equipment, pumps, valves, instrumentation, rotating machinery, mechanical, electrical, process. Planning ahead, organising the supply chain around delivery of engineering equipment for each project.
Based in Glasgow, possibly some hybrid working too.
