About the Role:
To operate with the ART VIC Warehouse Team, through service and supply to end customers and to support sales objectives. To efficiently move products (inbound & outbound). Ensure that documentation, labelling, and palletisation are done accurately. Ensure the warehouse & equipment is cleaned to standard on a daily / regular basis. Ensure adherence to BASF EHS policy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively contribute from time to time with stock take and cycle counts
* Control stock and replenishment levels to agreed targets
* Receipt and unloading of containers and vehicles as required
* Selection, packing, and checking of customer orders
* Loading of vehicles with stock / orders
* Maintain safe working conditions and report any hazards
* Operate high reach forklift trucks (Not A Necessity)
* Stock placement in accordance with warehouse procedures
* Dangerous Good Knowledge and compliance
* Ensure that activities are executed in accordance with company policy on Occupational Health and Safety. Precautions must be taken to ensure that a safe working environment is always maintained, and any actual or potential risks be actioned and / or reported immediately to the respective manager
* Undertake warehouse related tasks as prioritized by Operations Supervisor / Warehouse Coordinator
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
* Good understanding of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (desirable but not essential)
* Forklift License (Preferred but not essential)
* Dangerous goods knowledge (desirable but not essential)
