Role Title: Account Manager
Location: Leeds, LS15

Education Requirements: None but ideally degree educated
Experience Requirements: Health / Public sector related account management
Qualifications: None / commercial exposure
Responsibilities:
1. Account manage and nurture existing customers.
2. Develop new accounts.
3. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and tender submissions.
4. Negotiate and agree commercial terms for orders.
5. Account manage a number of existing ‘live’ customer sites.
6. Pursue opportunities in Councils/organisations that are not currently customers.
7. Represent the company to both customers and prospective customers at a senior level.
8. Work with partner companies to forge business relationships.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction with products/services.
10. Resolve and/or escalate customer issues in a timely fashion.
11. Work with other areas of the business to set and manage customer expectations.
12. Liaise with the marketing team around customer and prospect contact activities.
13. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities.
14. Respond to and follow-up sales enquiries.
15. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
16. Report regularly to the Business Development Director on progress and status of each account.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Ability to manage a complex caseload and meet deadlines.
3. Persuasive and credible in a sales context.
4. Strong ICT skills.
5. Self-motivated with good organisational skills.
6. Ability to work as part of a team.
7. Ability to recognise, analyse, and solve issues.
8. Full UK Driving Licence required.
