A girls' independent day school located in Bromley, Greater London for students from age 4 till 18, catering for about 1100 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast, AM snack, Lunch & 6th form café, operating Monday to Friday and predominately term time.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Bromley.
You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
* Great team player.
* Assist the Chefs with food preparation.
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
* Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
* Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
* Operate industrial dishwasher.
We are looking for:
* Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
* Organisational skills.
* Good understanding and use of verbal English.
* Good standard of written English and reading skills.
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
