Our client, an established presence in the Huntingdon area, is now recruiting for someone to join them on a full or part-time basis in a varied Accounts Assistant position. Working in a close-knit team, the role will be varied and duties will include Processing purchase invoices, from coding, approval to payment runs Processing employee expenses for payment Supplier statement reconciliations VAT returns Bank reconciliations Raising sales invoices Maintaining fixed asset register Assisting with preparation of payroll Credit control Ad hoc duties at month end This role will suit someone who has proven experience working in accounts and is looking for a role which provides exposure to all areas of accounts. Experience of finance systems is important and a strong understanding of Excel is essential due to its daily use.
