The ICT Technical Support Officer role is a pivotal part of our ICT service delivery. You will be part of a small team delivering a responsive IT Service Desk function, supporting our staff and members with efficient problem resolution, advice, support, and requests for service, as well as project work contributing to the implementation of our ICT Strategy.
We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service and communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage their workload in an organised and efficient manner to meet SLAs and internal deadlines. You will have a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, be resourceful, and be able to work using your own initiative, contributing effectively to the team.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in an IT support role, be ITIL aware, and possess excellent knowledge in technologies such as Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365, Entra/Active Directory/Azure, Intune, VMware ESXi/Horizon View, and a good understanding of Cyber Security and associated technologies.
This is a hybrid working position with time split between office and home working; however, flexibility is essential. The successful candidate will be offered appropriate equipment but must have a fast and stable internet connection and a suitable home working environment.
