INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER | £33,000 per annum Hybrid role with both office and home-working Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 14 th November 2025, to cover maternity leave. The Internal Communications Officer is the consultant for all employee communications, both proactive and reactive, to ensure the delivery of accurate, clear and consistent business messages to the right audience at the right time. Working with the Head of Corporate Communications and PR, this role will continue developing the internal communications strategy across the whole of the business with the aim of improving employee engagement. This role will liaise with other Head Office departments and village colleagues to plan, create, edit and deliver regular communications to ensure colleagues are kept up to date in a clear, consistent and professional way. The successful candidate will have previous internal communications experience along with the ability to work with and influence senior internal stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills will also be required. HOURS OF WORK Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 14 th November 2025, to cover maternity leave. You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm. Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working. ABOUT YOU Essential requirements: Previous Internal Communications experience Experience of working with/influencing senior internal stakeholders Experience of managing own projects/campaigns Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-confidence and experience of working with/influencing senior stakeholders Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and adherence to deadlines Ability to manage own work load work unsupervised where appropriate.
