Laboratory Technician in Electronic and Electrical Engineering

To assist in the day to day running of our world-class laboratory facilities, used by Undergraduate students to gain practical skills to complement their theoretical studies, a position has arisen for a Laboratory Technician.
You will be preparing the lab for student laboratory exercises and will be responsible for ensuring that all test equipment is functioning correctly. You will be supporting students and staff with technical queries and will be ensuring that there is a stock of the resources required to support lab activities.
You’ll have a background in a technical role and an engineering qualification, City & Guilds Level 3, ONC/ OND or HNC/ HND. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team and with minimum supervision. You are expected to have excellent practical skills, be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated.
