Ensuring each Room Attendant has sufficient for the bedrooms allocated to them each day and to fill their trolley at the end of the day. Ready for the start of next day. To ensure the collection of linen and rubbish from around the hotel to ensure all corridors and public areas are constantly maintained in a clear, clean and tidy manner. To accept and correctly store all linen deliveries. To process reject linen in line with set procedures. To operate the linen control system in conjunction with relevant departments. Support the accurate completion of regular stock takes, ensuring results are accurate. To support the Room Attendants as requested by the Head Housekeeper / Supervisors, this may involve distributing and make up extra beds, cots, Mattress turning in line with quarterly requirements etc. To be responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry and all linen storage areas. To be aware on individual linen costs and to ensure linen is kept within the boundaries of business levels, therefore ensuring no minimum charges from the linen hire Company. To greet all guests you come across in hotel public areas with a warm smile and appropriate talk lines. To report maintenance faults to a member of the Housekeeping Management or Maintenance team daily. To report any suspicious persons to a member of the Housekeeping Management team or Duty Manager as soon as you become aware of them. Ensure all bedroom doors are closed to prevent theft, and that you do not permit anyone access to a bedroom if they cannot prove they are the residents through displaying their key card. Security of keys to be ensured at all times, with the keys being handed to a member of the Housekeeping Management team before going off duty. Adherence to all relevant legislation and Company policies and procedures including but not limited to those relating to: Lost property Safety and security Health and safety Fire Safety WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU A positive, can-do attitude, with a passion for creating a welcoming environment.
