About the role: Interim Progress Coach Regional Manager
Activate Learning are looking for an inspirational and engaging Interim Progress Coach Regional Manager to join our Oxfordshire team.
Reporting to the Head of Personal Development and working in collaboration with our Progress Coach Regional Managers, Careers and Safeguarding teams, you will support the design and development of our Personal Development Curriculum for 16–19-year-olds.
Core to this role will be the line management of a regional team of Progress Coaches, ensuring they are allocated to faculties and supported in the effective delivery of their Progress Coaching duties. You will be the main link for Progress Coaching planning and liaison for faculties.
You will manage your time acting as the Progress Coach Regional Manager and as a Progress Coach with a reduced coaching load, delivering focused personal development sessions to develop students’ citizenship and self-awareness. Through 1-1 and group coaching, you will provide targeted interventions to a caseload of students, relating to their personal development, their learning, and their careers, thereby improving retention and achievement.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until the end of April 2025 (FTE 1.00).
What do you need to be a successful Progress Coach Regional Manager?
You will have previous coaching experience together with the ability to lead, manage, and influence staff to achieve effective outcomes. A coaching qualification together with previous team leadership experience would provide a distinct advantage.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to lead a team and deliver coaching sessions and inspirational group sessions to a diverse range of learners.
