Maintenance Fitter (JR10002295) Chipping Sodbury, England
Responsibilities:
* Complete and adhere to risk assessments covering health, safety, and environmental risks and management policies.
* Assist with start-up & shut-down routines to maximize throughput within the capacity of the plant.
* Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment to produce materials in accordance with site productivity targets and maintenance KPIs.
* Maintain and repair equipment within the scope of competencies as required by the OEM and Heidelberg Materials.
* Assist with the coordination of planned shutdowns, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
* Carry out cleaning and housekeeping, and any other 5S-related duties as required by management and per the site regime.
* Keep accurate records per management requirements to ensure that all maintenance carried out is accurately recorded for reference purposes.
* Operate machines, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with regulations and manufacturers' guidance.
* Undertake duties at other Heidelberg Materials sites within reasonable traveling distance, where transport or traveling allowance may be provided if the distance exceeds the normal home journey.
* Ensure that workshops, equipment, and facilities are adequate and maintained.
* Train and supervise Apprentice Maintenance staff.
