We are currently searching for a (Senior) Industrialisation Robotics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead the design and development of our robotic cells to enable the automation of our production processes. You will be critical to enable our desired production rate whilst working closely with our design teams to enable design for robotic production processes. You will have the rare opportunity to engage in the full life cycle of robotics and vehicle development — from conceptualisation and prototyping right through to certification — you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of aerospace technology. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and configure simple-to-complex multisystem process automation, and document associated requirements. Work directly with design to ensure direct feedback during the development timeframe. Be responsible for the hands-on build of robotic cells, both mechanical and electrical. At times operate the automated processes to ensure a robust operating platform. Address issues that arise in the use of such automated processes. Documentation and Reporting: Document designs, test results, and compliance efforts. Create reports for stakeholders, regulators, and engineering management. Qualifications: Degree and/or experience in robotics, mechanical, or electrical engineering. PLC programming experience is essential for this position. Hands-on experience with implementations of robotic production technologies. Familiarity with complex multi-robot automated systems. Broad technical and IT knowledge, including operating systems, programming languages, and databases. Keen understanding of how to write and test robust, safety-critical, efficient code.
