Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee quantity surveying tasks for residential adaptations and housing projects. Ensure compliance with the DFG framework, building regulations, and health & safety standards. Provide accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets. Communicate technical details effectively to non-specialist stakeholders, including disabled clients and their families. Essential Requirements: Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional Accreditation: RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) membership preferred. Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying roles, preferably in residential adaptations, housing projects, or DFG-funded schemes. Skills: Strong understanding of the DFG framework, building regulations, and health & safety standards for disabled adaptations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and cost-estimating tools such as CostX or similar.
