Summary Are you passionate about supporting learning and development? What you'll do Notting Hill Genesis, one of London's largest housing associations, are seeking a dedicated Talent and Learning Officer to join the corporate Learning team in the HR department on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role will see you working across the entire organisation, supporting an offer of top-notch, inclusive, and customer-focused learning and development initiatives. How you'll do it We will look to the Talent and Learning Officer to help us plan and run an innovative and inclusive service that supports our varied business areas to meet their objectives and external requirements, in line with our corporate strategies and values. This is not a training delivery role but an opportunity to help us understand learning needs and source, plan and run impactful initiatives. You will have the tenacity to work fast and be extremely organised, whilst always getting things done right first time. You will have the intellect to know what needs doing before being directly asked, and the attention to detail to deliver it without cutting corners. You'll also be a confident communicator with experience of collaborating with others efficiently and sensitively. We are looking for someone with experience of identifying learning needs and solutions to support these - you may have taken this further by designing and commissioning these solutions. You'll need the focus to work accurately using computerised databases/systems and the ability to look ahead and plan initiatives over 12-18 months at a time. Ideally, you'll have experience working directly within a Learning or HR team. The key to success is: Exceptional planning, co-ordination and administration skills. Excellent communication and listening skills. Good understanding of learning methods, engagement, transfer and impact.
