Deputy Nurse Manager Full-time or Part-time // Days or Nights up to 39 hours available £46,644+ per annum // £23ph+ Armagh Area. I'm thrilled to be searching for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager in the Armagh area. The Role:
You will work closely with a highly motivated team who focus on providing the highest quality care to a diverse resident group. Responsibilities include:
1. Be a positive, visible role model; promoting our person-centered philosophy of care to staff, the wider community, and visiting professionals.
2. Maintain a consistently high standard of clinical and social care.
3. Writing, reviewing, and updating clinical policies and procedures as appropriate.
4. Shadow the Nurse Manager and cover for the Nurse Manager when needed.
5. Support the financial effectiveness of the home, ensuring it operates within budget through effective resource use and identifying areas to improve efficiency.
6. Provide information and support to patients' families regarding care plans and treatment options.
7. Engage families in care decisions and discharge planning.
8. Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans.
9. Train staff in emergency procedures and conduct drills regularly.
10. Lead the nursing team during emergencies and critical incidents.
11. Ensure proper documentation and review of incidents to improve future responses.
What We're Looking For:
1. You must be a fully qualified General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, or Learning Disability Nurse.
2. 2 years of nursing experience.
3. A Valid NMC Pin.
