Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £140 per day Job Duties: 1. Delivering lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher. 2. Following the school's curriculum and lesson plans. 3. Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a productive learning environment. 4. Providing feedback to regular teachers on student progress. 5. Collaborating with other staff members to support the educational needs of students. Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Proven experience in teaching and classroom management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience in a teaching role Knowledge and Skills: - Knowledge of the national curriculum - Ability to engage and motivate students - Excellent organisational skills - Strong problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: - Work in various schools within the designated area - Full-time hours with occasional variation - Collaborative work environment - Adherence to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
