Lift Engineer required with NVQ3 for East London & Hackney Route We designed the engineers routes the last 3- trading years into operating very manageable engineer routes and can supply actual examples that due to the London speed limit reduction and other traffic management measures restricting filed base activities we now ready to drop the route numbers into control the daily expectations of our engineers being a working example of 3.5 lift Visits a day callouts repairs is the normal routes of around 900 visits per calendar year) we now working on a solution to control more reactive site repairs from all our engineers dropping the lift visits to include this newly formed routed engineer to be (25% repairs/75% service/callout) making the routed engineers drop to more sustainable good quality reporting and site works making the routes to (750-800 Visits per annum being (3-services a day with an average of (6-8 jobs a day) pending location and working criteria, but this balance allows engineers to keep the routes up to date and in good healthy condition without dropping the Company service expected levels. Our company repair team and company technicians operating daily within our London/local county client base we do carry out support works repairs/callouts/technical/consultant reports for one of the largest UK foods stores, that has been a client for 18-years. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with all types of lifts and controller manufactures, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. A qualification of NVQ3 as a minimum is required from all applicants. Requirements Person specification: To be customer focused with the ability to always maintain a professional attitude. To provide good organisational skills and to prioritise required tasks. To self-motivate and attend company training as available. Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel. Qualifications/Experience: Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Engineering Maintenance (Lift Servicing) Mechanical/electrical experience and/or a relevant engineering or electrical qualifications. Expectations: Job sheets to be completed by the end the working day, latest mid next morning, with urgent jobs discussed with the office or relayed with the out of hours office if the engineer needs rest time. Night call rota is expected as part of any field base engineer and is paid on top of their salary and has a standby element and paid per callout, but is at a low manageable block that has been successfully design run for number years, successful candidates will be supplied the rota upfront normally dates plotted 1-2 months in advance so the engineers are expected to swap cover with their colleagues as they need too.
