We seek an enthusiastic Administrator to be part of our Neighbourhood Mental Health team in Redditch.
This role is 15 hours a week with the hours and days to be agreed. We support flexible working requests.
In this important role, you'll use your knowledge, experience and expertise to provide essential secretarial support to our hard-working NHS Consultants as well as the other members of the administration team.
You will be a strong communicator supporting a wide range of people including patients and healthcare professionals. You will be responsive and adapt to the needs of the service, ensuring that your hard work will make a difference to our patients and service users every day.

Main duties of the job
A typical day as an Administrator may involve:
* Maintaining patient records effectively and accurately
* Minuting Professional Meetings
* General office duties such as typing, scanning, photocopying, printing
* Scheduling appointments and meetings
* Handling correspondence including incoming and outgoing mail
* Handling queries over the phone and face to face from staff, patients, and external agencies
* Looking after a shared email inbox
* Assisting the team with various administrative tasks

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to vocational level 3 in Business Administration OR educated to vocational level 2 with NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post.
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at the point of offer.

* Previous NHS experience
* Minute taking experience
Knowledge
* Knowledge of a range of administrative/secretarial procedures
* Detailed knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality
