We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated registered mental health nurse to join our supportive team on Cedar ward, which is an Crisis assessment ward, based in Hafan Y Coed Mental health services., Admissions and assessment of patients.Being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Advocate for your patient as a primary nurse.Support your patients by developing and implementing intervention plans.Build confidence and competence in administering medication.Assess risk and implement risk assessment management and safety plans.Use excellent communication skills to build rapport and de-escalate.Assess and support your patients mental and physical health.Provide a therapeutic and safe environment to aid recovery.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
