We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Permit Controller at Hinkley Point C.
As a Permit Controller, you will be coordinating and facilitating the work authorisation and permit process, tracking relevant documentation, and working with the project teams and permit office to ensure timely applications and renewals.
As part of the quality team, you will also be involved in supporting Document Control and Quality processes, activities, and systems.
This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work across a diverse set of businesses. You will be part of a great team that is supportive and friendly.

* Salary starting from £40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

* Working 39 hours per week, working 9 days across 2 weeks (Monday - Friday on week one then Monday - Thursday on week two), other shift patterns can be considered.

What we need from you:
* CITB HSE Maps Test (must be obtained before start date).
* Proven administration experience
* You must successfully complete the Client's Permit Acceptors course, which will be provided as part of your role
* Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills
* Intermediate/Advanced IT Skills – Word & Excel especially
* Strong organisational skills with accompanying attention to detail
* Aptitude for finding solutions
* Ability to interact effectively with internal and external staff at all levels
* Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
Site Specific Information:
* You must be able to provide a 3-year work/unemployment/education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
* You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
* The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
