About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 30 hour per week Senior Rota Co-Ordinator in the Anaesthetics and Critical Care Department. You will need excellent planning, negotiating and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will be part of an established administration team and you will be responsible for the day to day management of staffing rotas for a team of clinicians.
We are looking for a friendly, organised person who will need to be able to demonstrate commitment and excellent communication skills. Applicants need to be flexible to cover our service and will need to be able to work independently and on their own initiative. This is a varied and busy role that is vital to the smooth running of the department.
You are responsible for the line management of a small admin team.
Working Pattern: 30 hours across Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
* This post will be responsible for the day to day management of staffing rotas.
* To act as a contact point for day to day enquiries for Consultant, SAS and Junior Medical Doctors. Provide support to the lead Clinician, advising on staffing levels, day to day issues affecting anaesthetics, critical care and inpatient departments.
* This post will ensure excellent planning, negotiating and organisation to provide adequate staffing cover, including any staff with external contractual commitments.
* This post will provide high quality personal assistance to the management team including responsible administrative support in their absence, using own initiative and working without supervision.
* Ensure all information is secure, and confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.
* Ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times.
