The Role: As a Geography Teacher, you will:
* Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on your experience.
* Inspire students to explore the world around them, develop critical thinking skills, and foster a deep understanding of geography and its relevance to the modern world.
* Implement high standards of teaching and learning in the classroom.
* Use a range of strategies to support students' learning and progress, including formative and summative assessments.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school to promote excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
* Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and take an active role in extra-curricular activities, including field trips and clubs.
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment with effective behavior management strategies.
About You: We are looking for a Geography Teacher who:
* Holds a relevant degree (Geography or a related subject) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has a passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and a strong commitment to student achievement.
* Has experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 & 4, and ideally Key Stage 5 (A-level or equivalent).
* Can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team.
* Is committed to professional development and has a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
