About The Role

Joining the accounts team at our Support Office Birchwood, Warrington, you will support the finance department and wider business with the timely and accurate preparation of financial information to aid with decision making.
This will be a key position with access to senior members of the organisation and an excellent opportunity for somebody to develop in their career progression.
Key Requirements:
1. Support the accounting manager with the day to day running of the function
2. Finance business partnering with the IT & Marketing SLT
3. Responsibility for Management Accounts preparation including journal review and approval
4. Overseeing the work and development of three direct reports
5. Provide analysis and reporting to stakeholders at all levels of the business
6. Involvement in the annual budgeting process
7. Responsible for the streamlining of internal systems and processes
8. Supporting with audit, internal controls and projects when necessary
9. Able to deputise for the accounting manager on occasion

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
1. Financial modelling experience
2. Advanced excel skills including macros and/or power automate
3. Held a similar position managing and coaching junior team members
4. Part Qualified or higher in a professional Accounting Qualification
5. Highly proficient IT skills – Advanced Microsoft Excel (including macros, power automate etc), Word and Access
6. Excellent problem-solving skills
7. Attention to detail and accuracy
8. Experience of incentive scheme design/implementation an advantage
9. Strong written and oral communication skills
10. Enjoys working as part of a team
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
12. Strong organisation and time management capability
13. Able to prioritise demands and manage own time effectively
