Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Reading Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans tailored to each student's requirements Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance the learning experience Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Recognised qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching Valid DBS clearance Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience and empathy towards students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in specific SEN areas such as dyslexia, autism, or ADHD Experience using assistive technology in teaching SEN students Working Conditions: Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres Potential travel to different locations based on student needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
