Job Description
The QA Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation of business quality assurance principles, guaranteeing compliance with safety and quality standards, and verifying that all products meet the regulatory requirements expected of the Oil and Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and PED 2014/68/EU and PE(S)R – 2016 Module H.
2. Monitor and report on the Company's objectives through the Annual Quality Management Review to the management team.
3. Maintain QMS procedures by reviewing their effectiveness, controlling highlighted discrepancies, and updating procedures, documents, or working practices as necessary.
4. Represent the company during third-party/client or LQRA system audits and ensure close-out of any noted discrepancies/non-conformances.
5. Conduct external/supplier quality audits and follow up on corrective/preventative actions in accordance with QMS requirements.
6. Manage and conduct internal quality audits, including follow-up on corrective/preventative actions, in accordance with QMS requirements.
7. Manage Declarations of Conformity for PED.
8. Analyse quality performance data to identify trends and areas for business improvement.
9. Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement across all teams.
10. Manage internal and external concession requests.
11. Oversee investigations into customer complaints and non-conformance issues, including closure using RCA techniques like the 5 Why's.
12. Verify specifications provided by clients are correctly understood and transferred into internal documents, ensuring compliance with product quality requirements.
13. Manage all aspects of product quality throughout the manufacturing process, including goods receiving/in-process testing and final inspection.
14. Review and approve NDE procedures and reports.
15. Review and approve test procedures and reports.
16. Support business objectives while maintaining product quality objectives and certification requirements.
17. Manage the day-to-day activities of the Certification Team, including workload targets.
18. Review and approve PMI Certification.
19. Review and approve material test reports and EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification.
20. Review and approve Alco Valves 'Ready To Go' (RTG) stock certification to EN 10204 3.1.
* Identify training needs, organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
Maintenance of supplier performance and adherence to relevant laws and regulations is essential.
Ensure access to required tools, including calibrated measuring equipment.
Budget: Attractive - Negotiable depending on experience
Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4:45pm (lunch 12:30-13:00), Friday: 8am - 13:30pm
