Location: National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham, NG12 2LU
Job Type: Fixed Term, 6 months, April to October
Working Hours: 24 hours per week, 4 days out of 7, various 6-hour shifts, earliest 8.30am, latest 10pm.
Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour + Excellent benefits

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer-focused team- and right now we are looking to recruit for Seasonal Receptionist / Operations Assistants.
As the Receptionist / Operations Assistant you will provide front line customer service at the white-water course reception and assist in maintaining a safe & clean environment for customers.
The role will require you to open and close aspects of the facility which will involve unlocking or locking buildings and visual checks of the white-water course and surrounding area. You will be expected to be comfortable assisting customers inside our reception building, performing checks and inspections outside, and performing light cleaning around our changing rooms and reception area.
Main Duties:
* Greet and Book-in Customers on a computerised booking system
* Deal with Cash transactions
* Ensure a continuous availability of customer information
* Deal with first line customer inquiries
* Deal with customers by telephone
* Taking customer booking at reception desk and by telephone
* Complete regular checks of the facility for standards and safety purposes
* Perform routine cleaning tasks
* Opening and closing buildings and aspects of the facility

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who, like the members of staff, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the site and go the extra mile for customers when required.
We are looking to hear from candidates that have previous experience of dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment.
You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, the ability to handle cash and maintain customer records, as well as a good telephone manner and confidence with using IT systems.
