The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Home Manager to lead our nursing and residential home. As Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained while achieving business results. You will create an environment that promotes dignity, independence, and excellence in care.
This is a senior role where you will be supported by a wider team including Directors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, PBS practitioners, Therapy assistants, and the Quality Assurance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring excellent care standards.
* Lead and manage staff, ensuring they can perform their roles safely and effectively.
* Manage budgets and contracts to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
* Make strategic decisions regarding the future direction and growth of the home.
* Lead on specific projects or clinical areas, ensuring the highest quality outcomes.
* Provide on-call support out of hours (shared responsibility).
* Flexibility to cover nursing shortages as needed.
What You Need:
* Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Strong English, numeracy, and digital skills.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to plan for the long-term success of the home.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* A caring, trustworthy nature with a passion for providing high-quality care.
* Experience in managing complex care services and leading teams.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
* Previous experience as a Home Manager or in a similar role.
