Repligen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced applications specialist for the Analytics market, primarily to support Repligen’s customers during implementation of Repligen Analytical systems in their laboratories to ensure rapid adoption of the technology. This includes to support development and validation for GMP use according to regulatory standards and the customers requirements, document support and computer systems validations, method development and validation, as well as troubleshootings with the goal to drive expansion of the business into new groups, customer sites, and support adoption of new applications. The systems are sold primarily into the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and are commonly used for quantifying concentrations of analytes (proteins, nucleic acids, antibody drug conjucates, etc) in drug dnd deiscovery velopment, manufacturing and quality assurance. Furthermore, this role will include close interaction with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support to build new business and achieve expansion in existing accounts across Europe. The Bioanalytics Applications Specialist shall also be a strong internal voice of the customer to provide feedback on existing and new applications and NPIs to product management and the business. The role is part of the Analytics Customer Success Group, reporting directly to the Bioanalytics Applications Director. Responsibilities include: Work with new and existing Repligen customers on developing and improving Variable Pathlength Technology / Slope Spectroscopy methods. Work in coordination with the Customer Success Group (CSG) to provide pre and post-sales support to European customers for the Repligen Analytical product lines. This will include responding to customer requests for technical support, giving technical seminars, performing product demonstrations, providing on-site/in-lab support, troubleshooting, and assisting with the execution of development and validation services. Develop and proactively execute project plans to meet customer needs using the Repligen Analytical systems and Slope Spectroscopy methods. Provide knowledge and customer feedback to the CSG for the continuous improvement of C Technologies products. SOP Development/Review, Software Validation, and Method Development/Validation. Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ICH Q2 (R1) regulations, & overall best practices regarding Repligen Analyitcal solutions. Partner closely with business leaders and product managers. Support other members of Customer Success Team (Sales and Service Support) to ensure the product marketing strategy plan is integrated with the overall sales strategy. Establish and maintain Strategic Key Account relationships by supporting the sales team with account planning and bridging customer functional groups. Identifies, nurtures and focuses on key accounts and key opinion leaders to drive innovation and the company solutions into the market Provide accurate and timely activity reporting, management of customer projects, and support forecasting reports using CRM, Salesforce.com Analyse and deliver information to R&D and Product Management team on voice of customers, competition and market trends to develop strategies on product positioning and appropriate product development. A minimum of a BSc degree in a scientific discipline (biology, biochemistry, or related field) A minimum of 3 years of experience in the bio-pharmaceutical or life science industries.(application specialist experience is a plus) Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills Technical understanding of biomanufacturing processes and relevant analytical technologies, in particular UV-Vis spectroscopy Lab experience in bioanalytical method development and troubleshootings is preferred Work experience in a GMP-regulated environment or with GMP customers, especially with regards to formal instrument qualification and analytical method validation is an asset Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners Outstanding interpersonal skills: ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and lead through influence Ability to “get the job done”/ “can-do attitude” and take responsibility for results and performance without direct authority.
