They are members of the Charted Institute of Building (CIOB) and undertake professional qualifications within the membership to expand knowledge and experience in the industry. Their staff members also undertake examinations and progression through the Charted Institute of Insurance (CII) and other professional bodies dependent on the role.
Job Title: Graduate HR Administrator
A fantastic opportunity for a graduate HR administrator to join this firm as part of their growth plans. This role will be considered on part time and full time hours.
You will need to be personable, highly confidential and an individual who communicates well with others.
Key Task will include the following:
• Employee record management: Maintaining accurate employee data, including personal information, employment details, leave records, and performance evaluations.
• Recruitment support: Assisting with onboarding new employees including all paperwork and DBS checks.
• Benefits administration: Processing employee benefits enrolment, changes, and claims.
• Payroll processing: Gathering necessary data for payroll calculations and ensuring timely submission.
• Compliance management: Ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations regarding data privacy, equal opportunity, and labour standards.
• Employee relations: Assisting with any employee concerns as directed by management/Directors
CORE COMPETENCIES:
• HRM Degree/relevant degree
• Proven HR admin experience within a placement internship or part time role
• Part CIPD qualified - desirable
• Honest and trustworthy
• Confidential
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Can work independently and as a part of a team
HOURS OF WORK: 8.45 – 5pm Monday to Friday if full time. Part time hours are also considered.
STARTING SALARY: £25,000 - £28,000 pro rata DOE
HOLIDAY: Pro Rata - 25 days plus bank holidays, an extra 16 hours of time off in lieu taken at no more than two-hour slots which equates to the total of 27 days plus bank holidays. An additional day is also given for your Birthday if it falls on a weekday.
