Do you love that feeling of a freshly made bed, a tidy room, and everything just where it should be? If you’re someone who finds joy in creating clean, calm spaces, we think you’ll feel right at home with us.
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and reliable Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. You’ll be helping us keep things fresh, safe, and sparkling—from shared spaces to personal rooms—making a real difference in the daily lives of the people we support.
You don’t need loads of experience, just a good eye for detail, a kind and respectful attitude, and the willingness to learn. You’ll be part of a rota, working flexible hours, and you’ll also help train new team members on maintaining our standards.
There will be training, including health and safety (like COSHH), and you should be comfortable using a computer for e-learning. As a CrossReach service, we work within a Christian ethos, so you’ll need to be respectful of that and supportive of people’s worship or spiritual practices.
You’ll need to be a member of the PVG Scheme or willing to join, and we’ll guide you through that process.
If you’re seeking a role where your work truly matters—helping others feel safe, cared for, and comfortable—we’d love to have you on board.
We offer a range of benefits, including:
1. Exclusive retail and leisure discounts through our rewards scheme and the Blue Light Discount card.
2. A generous contributory pension plan and death in service benefit to secure your future and that of your loved ones.
3. Enhanced family-friendly policies to help balance work and family life.
4. Access to our health cash plan for cashback on health treatments.
5. A care concierge service to support you with life's challenges.
6. Support for your training and development, including contributions to professional memberships.
As a Christian organisation, respect for all aspects of Christian worship is essential.
You will also need to become a member of the PVG Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. Adherence to the SSSC Code of Practice is required.
We have a legal obligation to verify your right to work in the UK, which is granted by UK Visas and Immigration, and we will check this for all prospective employees.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion, aiming to create an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. If you have questions about this role or our recruitment process, please contact our Recruitment team at [emailprotected].
