Job Description
* Develop and implement HSE strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
* Establish policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
* Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
* Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
* Initiate and organise training of employees and executives
* Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
* Report on HSE performance and suggest improvements
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Manager should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field
* A professional qualification in health and safety
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
* Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with a clear ability to work well with others
