THE ROLE
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our friendly and hard-working HR team. You will work across our two sites in Bromsgrove and Worcester, reporting to the HR Manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing HR support and guidance to specific business units, ensuring alignment with the organisation's HR strategy and adherence to UK employment law.
2. Participating in, and supporting managers with, full case management on ER cases, e.g. underperformance and dismissals.
3. Advising and aiding managers with all aspects of the company absence policy and supporting employees back to work.
4. Supporting our outsourced monthly payroll.
5. Delivering training to line managers to ensure they understand and comply with HR policies and procedures.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above with demonstrable years of experience in an HR Business Partner role. You should possess a strong understanding of HR best practices and UK employment law. Key skills include:
1. Acting as a point of contact for employees and managers within assigned business units.
2. Being proactive and efficient, comfortable working to deadlines and prioritising workload effectively.
3. The ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
4. Coordinating training and development programs.
5. Overseeing the monthly payroll process including data entry, verification, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and deductions.
