You are committed to continuous professional development and are knowledgeable about health and safety in the workplace. A valid LGV class C driving license is essential, and being a qualified VOSA MOT tester for class 4 and 5A is desirable. What the Job Involves The role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles, plant, and equipment according to legislative and safety requirements. You will conduct vehicle tests in line with VOSA regulations and perform risk assessments and safety inspections. Your responsibilities include managing the stores area, roadside assistance, diagnosing faults, and recording statutory vehicle tests. Additionally, you will provide supervisory support, conduct training, and ensure completed maintenance work meets high standards of quality. You will also liaise with external suppliers for goods and services, manage stock levels, and carry out electrical work, welding, and minor repairs as needed.
