We are on the lookout for an experienced Marketing superstar to join our client’s team - a dynamic, forward-thinking, and rapidly expanding business. The role of Head of Marketing is a key position within our client’s SLT, collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team to enhance and execute the group marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will possess energy, passion, and innovative flair essential for excelling in a fast-growing scale-up business. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, business-focused approach along with a collaborative, hands-on attitude while leading a small team.
The Role:
1. Act as a brand guardian, championing the newly developed strategy and embedding the refreshed brand identity.
2. Oversee all internal communications, from strategic planning and annual scheduling (in collaboration with the HR team) to execution, ensuring optimal engagement through data monitoring.
3. Manage the digital reputation across customer review platforms, implementing campaigns to drive reviews and improve sentiment rankings.
4. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and industry news, providing valuable insights to the wider business.
5. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Senior Management Teams across Residential and Build to Rent divisions.
6. Lead the marketing team, including recruitment, professional development, and talent retention.
7. Work closely with the business to define and enhance the customer journey, ensuring seamless customer experience and communication at all touchpoints to drive resident engagement and retention.
8. Work alongside the Commercial team to create a suite of marketing materials to support business development.
9. Oversee strategy implementation, manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and provide expert brand, marketing, and communications guidance across the portfolio.
10. Manage relationships with third-party agencies and suppliers, ensuring return on investment and alignment with key business objectives and KPIs.
11. Oversee the management of all customer data for marketing purposes, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, including data capture, CRM management, automation, and maintenance.
Who are we looking for?
1. CIM or Marketing qualification (essential).
2. Proven success in a senior marketing role within a fast-paced environment.
3. Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.
4. Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing large budgets.
5. Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing.
6. Strong team leadership, with a focus on fostering a positive, values-led culture.
7. Extensive experience in CRM, automation, and data management.
