We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Walsall who are seeking an enthusiastic andmitted Science Teacher to join their team in September. This is a part-time (3 days a week) and long-term role for the autumn term with the potential of going permanent in January for the right person. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are wee to apply) and have recent experience teaching Science to Key Stage 4.
Job Description:
6. Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 4.
7. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
8. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
9. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
10. Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
Requirements:
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's wee to apply.
12. Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
13. Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
14. Strong behaviour/classroom management.
15. The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
