Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Payroll Officer into their team on a full time permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for accurate processing of various weekly payrolls
2. Ensuring processing deadlines are met centrally and regionally
3. Checking exception reports and amending any errors
4. Calculating overpayments
5. Processing EYU’s
6. SSP, SPP, SMP payments
7. Amending pay rates, tax codes, bank details etc
8. Dealing with queries from employees
9. Completing enquiry forms from third parties
10. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation
11. Month end reporting and payments for various weekly payrolls
12. Auto enrolment processes
13. RTI reporting to HMRC
14. Manual payments to employees where required
15. Year End Processes
Person Specification:
16. Payroll qualification or relevant experience
17. Accuracy and numerate
18. IT literate
19. Good interpersonal and communication skills
