The Construction Project Manager Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing a variety of complex projects. These projects span across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, heritage, government, industrial, and sports & leisure. Your role will be integral to the success of each project, ensuring that the consultancy's reputation for excellence is upheld.
Your Responsibilities Include:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring that each phase is executed with precision and efficiency.
2. Engaging actively with a wide range of projects, showcasing your ability to adapt to different sector requirements.
3. Handling contract administration, demonstrating your expertise in managing the legal and procedural aspects of construction projects.
4. Creating and utilising project documents and processes, establishing a systematic approach to project management.
5. Ensuring client satisfaction by consistently meeting and surpassing their expectations, reinforcing the consultancy's commitment to client-centric service.
The Construction Project Manager Requirements:
1. Accreditation by RICS, APM, or CIOB, or be actively working towards such accreditation, showcasing your commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards.
2. Extensive experience across various construction sectors, reflecting a broad understanding and adaptability to different project requirements.
3. Qualifications in Project Management, such as Prince 2, highlighting your structured approach to managing complex projects.
4. A proven track record in client-facing roles within a construction consultancy or client organization, demonstrating your ability to maintain and grow client relationships.
5. Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, essential qualities for thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
