About the role
Welcome to the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement and Data Analytics team. At the heart of all large supply chains is a wealth of data and complex systems. We are a business facing team, sitting alongside our supply colleagues enabling efficiency, democratisation of data and offering expert system support. We achieve this through building tools and reports that support or redefine processes. All our work is underpinned by analytics and end to end system understanding.
Data Analysts in this team report into a CI & Data Analytics Manager who in turn reports into the Head of Planning and CI. Day to day we operate as a team of 10, 3 managers, 6 analysts and an Operational Excellence Lead.
Key Responsibilities
* Use data analytics to provide insights and drive KPIs
* Understand supply processes to enable continuous improvement
* Supply chain system expert to allow day to day insights and enable correct analytics
* Build reports and tools that simplify supply processes and democratise data
* Collaborate closely with the Data Engineering team
* Build relationships with the wider supply teams we support
* Support existing reports and tools
* Technical documentation
* Create and deliver training material for the use of reports and tools
What you’ll need to have
Technical Skills
You have experience or qualifications giving you technical skills on much of the following:
* SQL
* DAX
* Data visualisation software such as Power Bi and Power Bi Report Builder (or similar)
* Advanced Excel (including index, tables, arrays, power pivot, and logical formulas)
* Visual Basics for Applications (VBA)
Soft Skills
* Desire to learn and develop
* Customer Focus
* Time Management
* Stakeholder Management
* Presentation Skills
Preferred Skills
* Microsoft Power Platform
* Python
* R
* Development Collaboration Software such as Azure DevOps
* Supply chain experience
