Purpose
Working and based on your core QC expertise you will have specific responsibilities for managing a subset of activities centred around Site QC activity associated to Fine Fragrance products and raw material ingredients.
You will report to Quality Control Manager.
Main Responsibilities
1. Lead QC evaluations and troubleshooting of products and ingredients.
2. Manage Analytical specific processes/tasks applicable to the Site.
3. Provide technical expertise/support regarding multiple aspects of materials/processes involved in sensory, manufacturing, raw materials...
4. As a technical expert, perform sensory assessments for the materials in scope.
5. Lead the investigation in case of non-conformance (internal or external) associated with the sensory evaluation parameters.
6. Be a coach to QC staff.
7. Lead improvements in QC processes and set proactive measures to prevent issues.
Academic Background
1. Vocational diploma (pre-university) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
2. University degree.
Professional Experience
1. Overall work experience of 5+ years in a similar position.
2. Previous background in Sensory Evaluation, from within the Fragrance industry.
3. Continuous Improvement experience.
Technical Skills
1. Fluent in English. Speaking and understanding French is desirable.
2. Laboratory or QC techniques required.
3. Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations.
