Waking Nights Support Worker. Residential Adolescent Children's Home Location: Elmstead Market. The shift pattern is 3nights on 3nights off (rolling rota) The working hours are 11pm-7am- An average of 32hours per-week. The Role: As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing overnight support to the young people in our residential care home. You will be responsible for creating a calm and supportive environment during the night, ensuring the well-being and safety of each resident, and offering guidance and reassurance when needed. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to adolescents during the night. Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times. Be a positive role model, offering emotional support and guidance. Respond to any situations as they arise, ensuring a safe and secure environment. Complete relevant reports and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with the day team to ensure continuity of care. Promote independence and help young people develop life skills. Assist with any nighttime routines, including helping residents settle or engaging in calm activities if needed.
