About the Role
As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will:
* Take on the fulfilling task of collecting fresh milk from local farms and delivering it to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is timely and efficient.
* Engage in a variety of roles, including farm collection and transhipment tasks, making each day unique and exciting.
* Ensure that all deliveries and collections are made on time, adhering to our client's requirements with utmost care.
* Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
* Experience the beauty of rural driving, exploring scenic routes and tranquil countryside.
* Attend regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills and expertise.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to hit the road with confidence.
* Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
* Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.
* Thrive under deadlines, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
* Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
* Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
