i-teachers are currently working with a fantastic primary and pre-school located in Blackburn who are eager to add a dedicated, hard-working and naturally outgoing SEN Teaching Assistant to their EYFS department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1 support to an EYFS child with Autism based both inside and outside of the classroom environment utilising an Education Health Care Plan.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Information:
1. Large EYFS department
2. Based in warm and welcoming primary & pre-school
3. Supporting non-verbal child with autism
4. Located in Blackburn
5. Paid up to £95 per day during term time
6. Online CPD courses included: SEN, Safeguarding & Behaviour
7. Monday to Friday role, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
8. February 2025 to July 2025 - interviewing ASAP!
SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Requirements:
1. Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
2. Huge team player - working within a large EYFS team
3. Energetic, enthusiastic and proactive
4. Knowledgeable regarding ICT and Microsoft
5. Excellent communication skills and good judgement
6. Proficient with Autism Education Trust Strategies (AETS)
7. Passionate about the development of children
