Head of Facilities

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading retailer on the search for Head of Facilities. This is a perm role based in London.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, tender, and manage key contractors and suppliers for facilities and property services.
* Develop service schedules for statutory and legislative requirements, ensuring legal compliance.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and continuously improve service quality.
* Implement business-wide changes to maintain legal and statutory compliance.
* Foster a collaborative approach across the business for all Facilities-related matters.
* Audit and report on completed works, ensuring quality, time, and cost-effectiveness.
* Lead the development of a property-based FM system, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Oversee works projects from inception to completion.
What are we looking for?
* Extensive experience in a Senior Facilities Management role.
* Preferably experience in a multi-site environment (retail, hospitality, leisure).
* Direction of maintenance teams and external suppliers.
* Detailed technical specification writing and contract administration.
* Proven project management in live operating environments.
* Comprehensive Health & Safety and energy management expertise.
* Strategic thinking with exceptional budget management skills.
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, or BIFM preferred.
Salary is up to £65k + benefits.
