An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Business Development Support to join our Commercial team.
As a Business Development Support, you will support in the development the market opportunities for diversification of investment into new meter markets and Low Carbon Technologies. You will also support the Business Development Lead in identifying, cultivating and winning new business.
Along with a competitive salary up to £55,000 (dependant on experience), we also offer

Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct market research by gathering and analysing data on market trends, competitors and potential clients
•Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth
•Prepare and manage documentation, reports and presentations
•Assist in the identification and qualification of potential leads and maintain communication with prospective clients
•Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners
•Organise and manage events, conferences and trade shows to promote the company
•Help to develop and implement business development strategies
•Monitor and report on the progress of business development initiatives
•Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
•Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
•Regular travel to various locations to attend business meetings, client interactions and industry events

•Competent in the area of emerging smart-home market, new energy products and technologies
•Strong financial and market research analytical skills
•Excellent oral and written communication skills; confident communication at senior management level
•Good at adapting and problem solving

•Competent in data analysis and report development
Qualifications and Attributes
Essential qualifications and experience:
•Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant subject/role
•Relevant experience in a sales or business development role
Desirable qualifications and experience:
•Sales and marketing qualifications
•Professional or vocational qualifications
•Knowledge and experience of the renewable energy market
•Knowledge of new energy market and emerging opportunities
•An understanding and experience of the smart meter market
