Ecommerce Manager

Havas Market is Havas Media Group’s specialist e-commerce agency which provides support to clients, end to end across all their digital retail channels. We combine expert execution skills, powerful technology/data analytics and strategic consulting skills to deliver above market growth and help clients outmanoeuvre competitors. As such, engagements are multi-channel (D2C, marketplace, Social Commerce), multi-product (managed service, advisory and/or tech/tools) and multi-national.
The Role:
This role sits within our Havas Market Account team, which focuses predominantly onmanaging Amazon Retail (Vendor and Seller Central),and also supporting clients across a range of other marketplaces.
As an Ecommerce Manager, you will own the day-to-day management of our Amazon and Connected Commerce clients, helping (with support from the Ecommerce Director)to define successful organicand contentstrategies to deliver growth and operational excellence for your clients.
You will leveragecombined knowledge from yourself and your team to come up with solutions to address clients’ daily businesses challenges, ensuring you are mentoring and managing more junior members of the team, and orchestrating cross-functional teams (including advertising) to deliver joined up strategies, plans and results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the day-to-day management of clients. Work quickly to resolve issues as they arise and anticipate ways to mitigate future issues.
2. Lead weekly status calls and own the status sheet ensuring actions are followed up on in a timely manner and all deadlines are met.
3. Manage executive(s) and be responsible forprioritizing tasks, upskilling them, holding regular catchups, setting objectives and ensuring they are delivering against these, and have the opportunities to learn all the expected disciplines.
4. Support the Ecommerce Director in developing well thought out Ecommerce strategies for your clients, generating content for campaign planning, strategy – including ad hoc briefs and annual planning.
5. Understand the needs of the client’s business and ensure recommendations and ideas put forward smart ideas and solutions to align with their short and longer-term goals.
6. Input into client Road Maps setting to clear deliverables and work with Account Director to determine priorities based on client's objectives and targets.
7. Constantly reviewing Content and Operations and making suggestions for how to improve content and ways of working ensuring the clients have best in class digital shelves.
8. Reporting - be responsible forWeekly / Monthly performance reports, ensuring that we are drawing out key actionable insights and questioning activation teams where needed. Taking the lead on the PCA process; briefing out the teams and collating slides to present.
9. New Business - support the Account Director with collecting intelligence for pitch work.
10. Tools - become efficient in using relevant industry tools - specific to Ecommerce.
Essential skills and experience:
11. Very strong operational knowledge of the Amazon retail (Vendor and Celler Central) is a must.
12. Agood working knowledge of Amazon Ads, D2C, Marketplaces and Social Commerce also important.
13. Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are essential.
14. Strong organisation and project management capabilities.
15. Excellent attention to detail.
16. Ability to multitask.
17. Excellent communication, listening and presenting skills.
18. Regularly gives constructive feedback to the team and reports, understanding how the needs of one individual differ from another.
19. Experience with people management, including the development of direct report’s Objectives, Reviews and 1-2-1s.
20. Very strong experience in a client facing role & ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
21. Excel acumen with sStrong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate these into commercial strategies.
22. Someone with a positive attitude who will help build a passionate culture in our team.
23. Fluent in spoken and written English
