About the role
We are looking for a junior to mid-level e-commerce Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the e-commerce industry, strong project management skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. You’ll be working alongside an experienced team of 8 designers and developers, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of online retail projects. You’ll act as a bridge between our clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery of e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple e-commerce projects simultaneously, from inception to completion
* Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable project plans and also collaborate with the internal design and development teams
* Oversee the entire project lifecycle including onboarding, scoping, design, development and launch
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
* Facilitate communication between internal teams and clients, acting as the primary point of contact
* Utilise project management tools to track progress, allocate resources and manage timelines
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in e-commerce project management, preferably with the Shopify platform
* Strong understanding of e-commerce processes from onboarding to scoping and implementation
* Proficiency in project management and best practices
* Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Slack and Notion (these are the three key tools you will be using)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively
* Good problem solver with decision making abilities
* Ideally someone who appreciates good design and a high level of design execution
